This is the third bar in the Constellation trio. While its brothers in the Old French Concession focus on whiskey and Japanese spirits, the menu at this one is centered around bourbon.
The decor is plush 1930s, with retro furnishings, old leather couches, and a bar running down one side. On the floor are tiles imported from Marseilles and out of the window you’ll see the futuristic Shanghai Grand Theatre.
Constellation’s 70-plus bourbons are arranged by distillery and come served over a tennis ball-sized sphere of ice in an old fashioned glass. Enjoy the bourbon straight up or choose from a modest cocktail list.
