Vinoteca distinguishes itself from DC’s other wine bars by offering a variety of entertainment and a bar that sells draft craft beer and Peroni to sip while playing boccie in the back court.

Of course, its selling point is the wine, roughly 60 labels, many of them available in half-glass pours. The happy hour special, Tuesday-Friday 5-7 p.m. and all day Sunday, features 20 wines for $5 per glass.

Sometimes this row-house space has live music, and it also features sidewalk seating, a bonus on a nice evening.
