Some rooms have truly grand views, and as it’s presently expanding upward, the views are likely to get even better.

Stretching impressively above the lakeshore, the hillside Hotel Cabañas del Lago (Klenner 195, tel. 065/232291, fax 065/232707, www.cabanasdellago.cl [2], US$125/135 s/d–US$160 s or d with breakfast) has equally impressive views and a heated pool.
