Curicó [1] is a quiet provincial town, but the local branch of the Centro Cultural Universidad de Talca (Merced 437) shows movies and stages concerts, as does the Centro Cultural Universidad Católica (Prat 220).
Curicó [1]’s biggest annual event is late March’s Festival de la Vendimia (Wine Harvest Festival), which has grown since Catalan winemaker Miguel Torres began operations here in 1986.
