The immigration office (Av. Medina near Av. Morelos, tel. 998/877-0189, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Mon.–Fri., 9 a.m.–noon Sat.–Sun.) issues tourist cards to those arriving by boat from another country; for all other matters, including extending your visa, visitors must go to the Cancún office.
