Public life in San Felipe [1] centers around the malecón. This waterfront promenade is a smaller version of the one in La Paz [2] and similar to Loreto [3]’s in size.
There are several bars and nightclubs that offer a scaled-down version of the Rosarito [4] beach scene. Several restaurants and shops also line the strip.
Playa San Felipe stretches the length of the malecón and is popular with sunbathers and pangueros for hire.
