Campestre Cocoyoc
South of Mexico City, about a 15-minute drive southeast of Tepoztlán on the road to Cuautla, is Campestre Cocoyoc (at Hotel Hacienda Cocoyoc, tel. 735/356-1132, www.cocoyoc.com.mx), an 18-hole course charging $55 during the week (no tee time needed) or $77 on weekends (afternoon only for nonmembers, and expect to wait). Golf carts are $21 and caddies charge $10, plus tip.
