A long-running popular spot is the Centro Histórico club Pervert Lounge (Uruguay 70, tel. 5510-4454, 11 p.m.–5 a.m. or so Wed.– Sat., cover $6), with deejays spinning house, techno, and other club music to a young dance-happy crowd. It’s a minor miracle that this place has stayed open so long, what with the ever-changing fads and the constant hassles from authorities, so they must be doing something right.
