WOLF AND DARWIN ISLANDS

WOLF AND DARWIN ISLANDS

These tiny islands, around 135 miles northwest of the main group, are visited only by diving tours, which endure a full night at sea to experience some of the best diving in the world. Clashing currents beneath unmistakable Darwin Arch bring schools of sharks and barracudas past “cleaning stations” where smaller fish nip off parasites. June–November, whale sharks glide by like spotted buses, and geothermal activity makes bubble streams from the ocean floor.
