Savegre River Plantation Named for the surrounding coconut plantation, this stunning resort-cum-recreational facility is fed by waters diverted from the river (and cleansed of silt). It features several recreational lakes (the largest 2.5 hectares) and 20 swimming pools with beaches and rocky shorelines. The lakes drop 35 feet in stages, with horizon edges; some 28 billion gallons of water will pass through each year. Each lake is themed, night-lit, and features a swim-up bar. One features a standing wave perfect for boogie-boarding and water-skiing; another has a variable wave with controllable left and right breaks for surfing. You can enjoy tubing on a lazy river, and there are jump-off spots into the deeper pools, which range up to 20 feet deep. Theres beach volleyball, horseback trails, ziplines over the water, and a spa. |
