Oh Canada Eh!

Popularized across the country at Niagara Falls, this musical dinner show (125 Kananaskis Way, off Bow Valley Trail, 403/609-0004 or 800/773-0004) provides a rip-roaring evening of fun and food in a modern building decorated as a cavernous log cabin. It’s unashamedly cheesy, but the parade of costumed Canadian characters—such as lumberjacks, natives, Mounties, and even Anne of Green Gables—will keep you laughing as they sing and dance across the floor. The food is surprisingly good, with Canadian favorites such as Alberta beef, salmon, and maple chocolate cake served buffet-style. Performances are nightly through summer at 6:30 p.m., and the all-inclusive cost is adult $55, child $26.
