CHIMULCO
Chimulco (Place of Vapors) was a sacred healing ground of the indigenous Chimulhucanes people for untold generations before the arrival of the Spanish, who established nearby Villa Corona (pop. 16,000, elev. 4,610 feet, 1,405 meters) around 1550.
