Situated right next to the greenery of Cedar River Park, Silver Cloud at Renton (1850 Maple Valley Hwy., 425/226-7600 or 800/205-6936, $104 s or $114) is a quiet and pleasant alternative to the SeaTac pack of motels. Several miles of trails are just outside the door here, and the facilities include an exercise room, hot tub, and rooms with kitchenettes. Rooms are tidy, and wireless Internet is included.
Also here is Clarion of Renton (3700 E. Valley Rd., 425/251-9591 or 800/578-7878, $119 s or $129 d), which offers a free airport shuttle, has a hot tub, and serves continental breakfast each morning.
