Set amongst towering evergreens at the foot of the falls, the Snoqualmie Falls Forest Theater (36800 SE David Powell Rd., 425/222-7044, www.foresttheater.org) has stage performances and barbecue dinners Fri.–Sun. in July and August. This is the only outdoor dinner theater in Washington. Tickets run around $18, and reservations are required for dinner shows.
The newly opened Casino Snoqualmie (37500 SE North Bend Way, http://snocasino.com) intends to put a distinctly Northwest spin on Vegas-style gambling. The log-and-lodgepole architecture, the 24-hour espresso stand, and the forested setting make this casino as “Seattle” as a well-worn raincoat. Complete with five dining options, two entertainment stages, over 1600 slot machines, craps, roulette, blackjack, and a 17-table poker area let you have an exciting time.
