There’s no Soup Nazi at 
Soup Daddy (211 Fairview Ave. N., 206/682-7202, www.soupdaddysoups.com, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Mon.–Fri., $7), and thank goodness for that, because I would have a meltdown if I were ever denied its stunning soup selection. Choose among five or so different soups each day. Pair it with a bread bowl, sandwich, or salad to make the perfect midday meal. Operating for years out of Pioneer Square, Daddy done moved on over to the hip South Lake Union neighborhood.
