Nightclubs
It is no Miami Beach, but Seattle does have a healthy mix of dance clubs for those looking to get their groove on. Polly Esther’s Culture Club (332 5th Ave. N, 206/441-1970) is an extremely popular downtown club that attracts dance fiends, horny college kids, and others who come out for fun. It gets packed on weekends.
Last Supper Club (124 S. Washington St., 206/748-9975) is another college hangout, and one of the town’s place-to-be-seen spots.
Perhaps the best place for some booty-shakin’, bump-and-grindin’ action is over in Pioneer Square: The aptly named Trinity (111 Yesler Way, 206/447-4140, trinitynightclub.com) spreads the music vibes over three levels, offering different jams on each floor.
For some truly high-class partying, round up your peeps and head to Heaven (172 S. Washington St., 206/622-1863, http://heavenseattle.com), a swank Pioneer Square club with VIP tables and bottle service at the ready.
For something completely different, the Century Ballroom (915 E. Pine St., 206/324-7263, www.centuryballroom.com) on Capitol Hill is a snazzy spot for swing and salsa dance enthusiasts. It has one of the largest dance floors in the state.
