The setting is cozy and friendly.

Another fine breakfast and lunch spot is Cafe Garden (1506 E. 1st St., 360/457-4611, 6:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. daily) where the menu covers the spectrum from Belgium waffles for breakfast to Asian stir-fries and deli sandwiches for lunch.
