The hotel has an outdoor pool, hot tub, exercise room, and free airport and ferry shuttles.

Ocean Crest B&B (402 S. M St., 360/452-4832 or 877/413-2169, www.oceancrestbnb.com, $75–95 s or d), a mile west of Port Angeles looking down on the waterfront, has three tasteful bedrooms with private baths and free transportation to and from the ferry. Kids are accepted.

Tudor Inn B&B (1108 S. Oak, 360/452-3138, www.tudorinn.com, $125–160 s or d, discount for active-duty U.S. armed forces) is a 1910 half-timbered English Tudor home with five pretty guest rooms featuring crown molding; one has a canopied bed. Mountain and water views come at no additional charge. Most rooms have private baths.

The Five SeaSuns B&B (1006 S. Lincoln, 360/452-8248, www.seasuns.com, $90–165 s or d) is a grand 1926 Dutch Colonial home on spacious grounds. Inside are five guest rooms, shared or private baths, and period furnishings.
