Meet the loggers over coffee and donuts at The Coffee Shop (314 Forks Ave. S, 360/374-6769, 5 a.m.–8 p.m. daily), with friendly waitresses and dependably good food three meals a day.
The In Place (320 S. Forks Ave., 360/374-4004, 6 a.m.–9 p.m. daily) is a good lunch spot, with deli sandwiches and great mushroom bacon burgers. They also serve pasta, steak, and seafood dinners.
A mile north of Forks at the La Push road junction on Highway 101, the Smoke House Restaurant (360/374-6258, 11 a.m.–9 p.m. Mon.–Fri., noon–9 p.m. Sat.–Sun.) is open daily for lunch and dinner with wonderful prime rib and a full menu of other all-American faves.
Pacific Pizza (870 Forks Ave. S, 360/374-2626, 11 a.m.–9 p.m. Sun.–Thurs., 11 a.m.–10 p.m. Fri.–Sat.) has the best local pizzas and pasta.
The Forks Farmers Market (360/374-6623, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Fri.–Sat. May–mid-Oct.) takes place next to Sully’s Drive-In at the north end of town.
