The 10,000-seat Comcast Arena at Everett Events Center is the largest concert venue in the North Sound region. The arena regularly hosts top-billed stars such as Rod Stewart, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Bette Midler. It is also the home rink for the Everett Silvertips (www.everettsilvertips.com), a major junior hockey team playing in the Western Hockey League. When the puck isn’t on the ice, this is also a favorite stopover for big-name ice-skating shows like Disney on Ice.

The Seattle Mariners’ Class-A farm team, the Everett Aquasox (3802 Broadway, 425/258-3673, www.aquasox.com), plays at Everett Memorial Stadium from mid-June to Labor Day. The games offer great family fun.
