The longest-running and best resort on Lake Chelan, 
Campbell’s Resort (104 W. Woodin Ave., 509/682-2561 or 800/553-8225, www.campbellsresort.com, $210–330 s or d, $320–450 suites) is right in town and offers 150 rooms, plus two pools, hot tubs, boat moorage, and a 1,200-foot sandy beach. Campbell’s is also a popular convention facility.
Darnell’s Resort Motel (901 Spader Bay Rd., 509/682-2015 or 800/967-8149, www.darnellsresort.com, $210–446 for up to four) features luxury family accommodations with a private beach, heated pool, hot tub, sauna, exercise room, lighted tennis courts, putting greens, rowboats, bicycles, moorage, and kids’ play area. A four-night minimum is required in midsummer.
