Day sail operators will take you out for a day of sailing and snorkeling around Virgin Gorda. Double D Charters (Yacht Harbour, 284/495-6150 or 284/499-2479, www.doubledbvi.com) offers day sails on a 40-foot motor yacht and 50-foot catamaran.
If you would rather set your own course, Euphoric Cruises (Yacht Harbour, 284/495-5542 or 284/494-5511, www.boatsbvi.com) rents a range of powerboats.
In North Sound, Leverick Bay Watersports (Leverick Bay Resort, 284/495-7376, fax 284/495-7014, www.watersportsbvi.com) rents four-person dinghies, monohull sailboats, and two-person sea kayaks for $50–90 per day. It also rents more upscale powerboats for $300–450 per day. Bitter End Yacht Club (North Sound, 284/494-2746) offers a whole range of sailing excursions, classes, and rentals.
