While geared mostly to guests and staff at nearby Maho Bay Camps, Pavilion Restaurant (Maho Bay Camps, 340/776-6226, 7:30–9:30 a.m. and 5:30–7:30 p.m. daily, $13–18) is open to the public for breakfast and dinner daily. There are no waiters; order and pay for your food at the counter and wait for your name to be called at the window. At breakfast you can get muffins, cereal, and fruit, or more substantial omelets, pancakes, and French toast. For dinner, each evening has its own theme, ranging from Italian to West Indian. Call ahead to find out the flavor for the day. Sunsets are spectacular here, and happy hour drinks come with free popcorn. The camp’s shop sells sandwiches, ice cream, drinks, and other picnic supplies.

T’ree Lizards (Cinnamon Bay Campground, 340/776-6330, $14–24) at Cinnamon Bay serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. The breakfast ($6–10) menu includes pancakes, eggs, and lighter fare like yogurt and fruit. Lunch ($5–10) is a variety of sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken sandwiches, and jerked mahimahi wraps. Fries and other sides can be ordered à la carte. The dinner ($14–20) menu includes steak, seafood, pasta, and veggie specials.

T’ree Lizards mostly attracts Cinnamon Bay campers, but others may find it a convenient and relatively affordable place to eat. Dining is in the open air, beneath a huge, spreading rain tree.
