Canada Place: This architectural masterpiece takes pride in its place along the Vancouver waterfront. Its towering white sail-like architecture is a city landmark.
Granville Island: Interested in the arts? Want to watch wooden boats being built? Do you enjoy browsing through interesting market stalls? You’ll find all this and more by catching a ferry to this city island.
Stanley Park: It will wow you. This massive chunk of downtown has been protected for all time in its forested, old-growth state.
VanDusen Botanical Garden: Garden lovers will be in their element at this formal garden in the heart of one of Vancouver’s most upscale neighborhoods.
Museum of Anthropology: Inspired by the longhouses of First Nations people, this museum houses a stunning collection of totem poles and related arts and crafts.
Grouse Mountain: Located on the north side of the city, Grouse Mountain’s gondola provides views extending across the city to Mount Baker in Washington state. A wealth of on-mountain activities makes this a good half-day excursion.
Lund: At the end of the Sunshine Coast, Lund is a delightful fishing village with plenty to see and do.
Peak 2 Peak Alpine Experience: The resort town of Whistler is worth visiting regardless of the season or your interests. One thing everyone should do is ride the linked Peak 2 Peak gondolas for the views alone.
