Ike’s Coffee & Tea $
Trip Ideas
3400 E. Speedway Blvd., Tucson
520/323-7205
HOURS: Daily 6 a.m.–midnight
COST: Most entrées less than $10
I’ve never seen Ike’s Speedway Boulevard location empty—or even thinned out, for that matter. One can seemingly visit during any of the 18 hours this sleek locally owned coffee house is open every day and hear the gentle tick-tick-tick of patrons at their laptops.
It’s a popular place for study sessions, business meetings, and general chit-chat, owing to its excellent free wireless network, its open, cool interior, its very good coffee drinks, and a host of delicious fare, mostly of the breakfast and lunch variety.
The downtown location (100 N. Stone Ave., 520/792-1800) has truncated hours (Mon.–Fri. 7 a.m.–5:30 p.m.), as it exists primarily to serve downtown workers and their banker’s hours.
