A cozy art-filled spot upstairs from the American Apparel store at Main Gate Square, Vila Thai serves the best pad thai in town. They also make a wonderful selection of curries, and all kinds of other Thai favorites. They’ve got an excellent wine list, and serve a selection of Thai beers and other Asian brews.

The art on the walls, mostly by local artists, changes monthly and can be challenging, inspiring, and infuriating. The cheap happy hour prices are just short of theft, offered Monday–Thursday 3–6 p.m. There’s free wireless Internet and complimentary valet parking.
