In late February the keen eyes of the professional golf world are focused squarely on Tucson when Tiger Woods comes to town, bringing along the world’s top 64 golfers to battle it out for an oversized $8 million check. Tiger made his 2009 return to professional golf at the popular Accenture Match Play tournament, which has top golfers competing for each hole instead of an entire round.
The international press descends on the ultra-high-end Dove Mountain golf resort northwest of midtown, and tickets aren’t too easy to come by.
