Children will enjoy learning about science at the Adventure Science Center (800 Fort Negley Blvd., 615/862-5160, Mon.–Sat. 10 a.m.–5 p.m., Sun. 12:30–5:30 p.m., adults $9, children $7). Interactive exhibits explore how the body works, the solar system, and other scientific areas.
The center’s new Sudekum Planetarium opened in June 2008. With 164 seats, it is the largest planetarium in Tennessee.
