If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable room and friendly welcome, look no farther than the

This 204-room no-frills hotel offers a solid Tennessee welcome to its guests, who come in droves to see the Opry and enjoy other Music Valley attractions. It’s right next to a Cracker Barrel restaurant and there’s plenty of parking for cars and tour buses. Guests enjoy cable TV, free coffee and pastries in the morning, an outdoor pool, and a gift shop stocked with Nashville souvenirs.
The all-suite Best Western Suites near Opryland (201 Music City Cir., 615/902-9940, $70–80) is a comfortable compromise between the luxury of the Opryland Hotel and the affordability of a motel. Each of the hotel’s 100 suites has a couch, desk, high-speed Internet access, coffee- and tea-maker, microwave, ironing board, and refrigerator. Rooms with whirlpools tubs are available for about $80 more per night. Guests enjoy an on-site fitness room, 24-hour business center, outdoor pool, free continental breakfast, and weekday newspaper. The Best Western is located along a strip of motels and restaurants about one mile from the Grand Ole Opry and other Opryland attractions.
