Georgia O’Keeffe House

The artist’s main residence, where she lived 1949–1984, fronts the small plaza in the village center of Abiquiu. The house is open to guided tours mid-March–November (505/685-4539, five times daily Tues., Thurs., and Fri., $30).
The rambling adobe, parts of which were built in the 18th century, is interesting, but in many ways the surrounding landscape reflects O’Keeffe’s work more than her home does. Tours depart from the Abiquiu Inn on U.S. 84; you must make reservations at least a month in advance.
