RV and Trailer Parks

Campers who prefer company to isolation stay in RV and trailer parks. About 20 of them dot the Puerto Vallarta region’s beaches from San Blas to Barra de Navidad. The most luxurious have all hookups and dozens of amenities, including restaurants, recreation rooms, and swimming pools; the humblest are simple palm-edged lots beside the beach. Virtually all of them have good swimming, fishing, and beachcombing. Prices run from a few dollars for a tent space to about $14–22 per night including air-conditioning power. Significant discounts are available for weekly and monthly rentals.
Good RV and trailer parks are located (from north to south) at San Blas, Matanchén Bay, Laguna Santa María, La Peñita, Rincón de Guayabitos, Lo de Marco, Sayulita, Puerto Vallarta, Chamela Bay, Boca de Iguana, and Melaque.
