Scottsdale loves to shop. Luxury brands, cool boutiques, Native American crafts and jewelry, authentic cowboy boots and hats—this city has it all. Scottsdale is also home to the country’s third-largest art market, with galleries featuring traditional Southwestern pieces as well as cutting-edge, contemporary installations that blend painting, sculpture, glass, and ceramics.
Spend some time browsing downtown shops and galleries to find those “only in Arizona” souvenirs. If you’re in need, though, of an air-conditioned getaway in the summer, the colossal Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall has nearly 200 stores to keep your credit cards busy. The majority of the city’s retail options are found at malls and open-air shopping centers along Scottsdale Road.
