A pedestrian path called Liberties Walk is home to a sprinkling of appealing eateries and shops. The cute enclave raised the bar with the addition of this authentic tapas bar.
Affordable, delicious hot and cold tapas range from $4 to $9. Choose from the quieter, more romantic dining areas with tables and booths, or sit at the fun, sociable bar—especially happening on weekends.
Owner Owen Kamihara emphasizes the importance of the authentic tapas experience, so feel free to come for dinner or just have a few bites while you drink, as is customary in Spain.
Try the cured meats and cheeses, and the interesting configurations like tuna confit, roasted eggplant empanadas, or sautéed mussels with chorizo and fried capellini.
About half of the 50-plus bottles of Spanish wine are available by the glass, along with beers and specialty cocktails. Each week a different wine is offered for just $2 a glass.
