The perfect balance of colonial charm and modern amenities, the Morris House Hotel offers period furnishings and WiFi. Built in 1787, this three-story bed-and-breakfast was home to the prominent Morris family for generations.
The National Historic Landmark has been beautifully restored; the 15 guest rooms vary in size and price, with doubles starting at $189, suites at $209, and extended luxury suites at $249. Rooms in the new addition next door are attractive and comfortable but quite modern, so if it’s colonial ambience you’re after, be sure to request a room in the original building.
A delicious continental breakfast and afternoon tea is included. When the weather is nice, eat breakfast in the pretty walled garden.
