Built in 1864, the current building replaced an inn in the same location that dated from 1772. The only full-service hotel in Chestnut Hill, this pleasant hotel offers all the modern amenities on Germantown Avenue, an excellent base for exploring the area.
The area is bustling during the day with shoppers, and there are several great dinner options nearby, but it gets relatively quiet at night. The AAA three-diamond establishment has hosted its fair share of celebrities including Kate Hudson, Billie Jean King, and Cuba Gooding Jr. Standard doubles start at $109 and suites start at $140.
Three on-site restaurants happen to be some of the neighborhood’s very best, but there are a myriad of other choices nearby as well.
