The lowest-priced hotel in the area (with rooms starting at $124 when booked two weeks in advance) is a standard chain hotel with 183 guest rooms, free parking, a fitness room, gift shop, and an outdoor pool. The decor is a bit outdated, and the outside is an unremarkable block, but it makes a comfortable and affordable base for exploring.
There is nothing in the immediate vicinity outside of the on-site sports bar and restaurant, but it’s just a short walk from Center City and the restaurants and bars of the mostly-residential Fairmount neighborhood.
