Dutch Wonderland
Trip Ideas
If you have young kids and you’re visiting in summer, visit the “kingdom of kids,” Dutch Wonderland (2249 Lincoln Hwy. E., 717/291-1888, www.dutchwonderland.com, $28.95, free under 2). There is nothing very Dutch about the place, but the small amusement park has about 40 rides great for children 12 and under.
It’s a pleasant, easy-to-navigate park, with mini-golf and play areas. In the summer it is open daily 10 a.m.–8:30 p.m. early June–late August. Hours vary and are reduced in fall, winter, and spring; check the website.
