Trip Ideas
Sesame Place (100 Sesame Rd., Langhorne, 215/752-7070, www.sesameplace.com) is the only theme park in the world based on the popular television series Sesame Street. Catering to children ages 2–13, it offers amusements, a three-story netted jungle gym, live stage shows, and a water park of more than 14 acres.
Costumed Sesame Street characters wander around to interact with kids. Open daily 10 a.m. in May–October; it closes anywhere from 5 to 9 p.m. depending on day and time of year.
An all-day pass costs $44.50 for adult and child, $39.50 for senior and AAA member, and free for children under 2. A reduced “twilight admission” costs $26.50 and allows three or four hours of park time (enter after 4 p.m. when the park closes at 8 p.m. or after 2 p.m. when it closes at 5 or 6 p.m.). Call ahead for specific closing hours.
