Pizza Carloía (Maruri 381, tel. 084/24-7777, midnight–3 p.m. and 5–11 p.m. Mon.–Sat., 5:30–11 p.m. Sun., US$10) has traditional Italian woodfire oven pizzas with thin smoky crusts. Those meat lovers who like a bit of spice should try the Diablo.
Babieca Trattoría (Tecsecocha 418-A, tel. 084/50-6940, 11 a.m.–midnight, US$12) has excellent dough, gourmet toppings such as alpaca and trout, and a seriously gigantic pizza called the Kilometriza for US$20.
A very cute, cozy, and affordable pizzeria is Justina (Palacio 100, interior, tel. 084/25-5475, 5–11 p.m. daily, US$10). The specialty of the house is the mushroomy and delicious Pizza Justina.
