The jungle, blanketed in a brilliant monoshade of green, depends on its inhabitants to give it color. Strange, noisy, and even stinky, its wildlife does just that and, in the meantime, turns up the volume. Birds squawk, beetles wiggle across the floor, and monkeys howl at sunrise.
