Travel back in time to the early 1900s thanks to the Baldwin Hotel (31 Main St., 541/883-4207, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Wed.–Sat. June–Sept.), adorned with original fixtures and furnishings, the legacy of a talented female photographer whose father—a U.S. senator—built the place first as a hardware store, then as a hotel. Presidents Teddy Roosevelt, Taft, and Wilson have all stayed here.
Two different tours are offered: a two-hour tour of all four floors ($10 adults, $8 seniors and children ages 5–10), and the half tour, a one-hour tour that visits jut two floors ($5 adults, $4 seniors and children). The final full tour starts at 1:30 p.m., and the final half tour starts at 2:30 p.m.
