Lovers of quieter diversions might enjoy going on a wine, snack, and soft-music sunset cruise on the sailboat Luna Azul (tel. 958/587-0509). For higher-volume entertainments with your sunset view, go by the catamaran Tequila (tel. 958/587-2303) from the Santa Cruz boat harbor.
The Club Gala Resort in Tangolunda is one of the most reliable sources of hotel nightlife. Live music often plays before dinner (about 6–8 p.m.) in the lobby bar, and “Gala Night” tourist buffet and shows rev up at least weekly year-round. Contact a travel agent or call the hotel directly (958/583-0400) for details and reservations (about $55 per person, including everything). Other hotels, such as the Crown Pacific (tel. 958/581-0044) and Barceló (“Caribe Tropical” and “Broadway” nights, tel. 958/587-0055) may also offer similar buffet and show entertainments in season.
