Why should meat-eaters get all the beer? The People’s Pint (24 Federal St., Greenfield, 413/773-0333, www.thepeoplespint.com, 4 p.m.–midnight Mon.–Fri.; noon–midnight Sat.–Sun., $6–16) melds a vegetarian ethos with finely crafted drafts. Meals of blackened veggie burgers and cheese plates are apt to please vegetarians and carnivores alike; the restaurant offers discounts for bike riders.
With food so beautifully plated you almost don’t want to eat it, 
Sienna (6-B Elm St., S. Deerfield, 413/665-0215, www.siennarestaurant.com, 11 a.m.–2 p.m. and 5–10 p.m. Mon.–Sat., 11 a.m.–2 p.m. and 5–9 p.m. Sun.; $17–20) is a culinary gem that could hold its own anywhere in the world. Eat it you should, because the delicate flavors of chef Richard Labonte’s roast duck breast and pan-seared beef tenderloin virtually melt on the tongue. The decor of bamboo stalks and burnt-sienna walls strives to be as elegant as the food.
