The largest selection of boats for rent on Cape Cod is at Flyer’s Boat Rentals (131A Commercial St., 508/487-0898, www.flyersrentals.com), which has both motor boats and sailboats. If you are a lubber, lessons by expert sailors start at $80 for two hours.
The 73-foot gaff-rigged schooner Bay Lady II (20 Berry Ln., 508/487-9308, www.sailcapecod.com, $20–25 adults, $12 children) sails several times daily for the Corn Hill bluffs and Long Point Light.
Sportfishing boats lining Macmillan Wharf include the Ginny G (508/246-3656, www.ginnygcapecodcharters.com), which goes in search of bluefish, bass, cod, and tuna.
Venture Athletics Kayak Shop (237 Commercial St., 508/487-9442) rents sea kayaks and leads guided tours to Wood End Light.
