Right downtown, the
Broadway Hotel (103 W. Broadway, 406/859-8000, www.broadwaymontana.com, $80–130) is a beautifully restored hotel from 1890, with nine themed rooms, all with private baths, including a suite with its own card room. If you need more space, a couple of pet-friendly guest cottages are near the hotel ($140). A continental breakfast in the hotel’s coffee bar is included. This wonderfully updated and comfortable hotel is alone worth the detour to Philipsburg!
The Inn at Philipsburg (915 W. Broadway, 406/859-3959, www.theinn-philipsburg.com, $44 and up) also has an RV park and meeting rooms; pets are accepted.
