In summer, the entire Marquette area is part of the comprehensive Range Mountain Bike Trail System, with more than 25 miles of trails stretching from Teal Lake to Lake Sally, south of Suicide Bowl. Routes are covered in the Marquette Region Hike and Bike Trail Guide, available from local shops or the Marquette Country Convention & Visitors Bureau.

The shop also hosts weekly climbing outings, mountain bike rides, and river trips in summer months. Down Wind sells a full line of sporting equipment, including kayaks, skis, and snowshoes, and has rentals available.
