If you’re looking for lodgings beyond the casino, check out The Green Suites (1900 S. Summerton Rd., 989/772-1703, www.green-suites.net, $140–200 d), Mount Pleasant’s only all-suite hotel. With its proximity to the Soaring Eagle Inn and several nearby golf courses, it’s an ideal spot for those visiting the Mount Pleasant area. Suites range in size, from 995-square-foot one-bedroom suites to spacious 1,687-square-foot chambers, but all contain a living room, a dining area, and a kitchen.
The Soaring Eagle Casino isn’t the only game in town for food either. The Brass Cafe and Saloon (128 S. Set within two turn-of-the-20th-century shopfronts, this popular eatery offers an intimate setting for relaxing after a hard day of golf or gambling.
