Spectator Sports
MSU has a spectator sport for everyone, from football to basketball, hockey to baseball. For scheduling and ticket information on Spartan sporting events, contact the MSU Athletic Ticket Office (Jenison Field House, 517/355-1610, http://msuspartans.cstv.com, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Mon.–Fri. Aug.–Apr., 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Mon.–Fri. May–July).
Golf
Although northern Michigan boasts even more award-winning golf courses, the Heartland has its share of eye-catchers. Eagle Eye Golf Club (15500 Chandler Rd., Bath, 517/641-4570, www.hawkhollow.com, daily Apr.–Oct., $50–89) is one such place, located about 10 miles northeast of Lansing on I-69. Even better, this exceptional course is part of a spread that includes three others: the 9-hole Falcon, the 27-hole Hawk Hollow, and the Little Hawk putting course.
