Manifesto is difficult to enter, but it’s the challenge that gives the nightspot a true speakeasy ambience. Located below 1924 Main, Manifesto’s interior seats only 40 people. Look for the keypad, hit “call,” and, if space allows, you’ll be buzzed into a dimly lit, intimate room filled with mostly white decor.

Head to the bar where Manifesto co-owner Ryan Maybee might be mixing up some of the most inventive cocktails in existence. Manifesto’s other mixologists are equally talented, combining spirits with unusual ingredients like dried juniper berries and even Shatto root beer milk to create flavorful cocktails that are an experience, rather than a mere drink.

If you’re planning to visit Manifesto Thursday through Saturday, call for a reservation to ensure one of the hottest tables in the city.
