In 2005, Blonde exploded onto the scene as one of the Plaza’s first ultra-lounges. By day, the sleek, contemporary interior and soaring bar are reminiscent of an upscale eatery. At night, pulsing dance beats and a tireless crowd transform Blonde into one of the city’s must-see nightspots.
But be advised: A dress code is strictly enforced, and it’s best to arrive early to ensure entry. Late arrivals are often stuck in a line that snakes halfway around the block.
Keep your camera ready, as Blonde is a favorite spot for visiting celebrities, musicians, and athletes, making the people-watching well worth the price of a few cocktails.
